This striking photo by Christina Crowner was the winner of Gizmodo's recent Shooting Challenge, Day to Night. Gizmodo gave photographers the ambitious task of combining day and night into a single shot. To capture this transition, participants took at least one photo during the day and at least one at night at the exact same spot and then combined them using post-production software.
